What To Expect

Learn what to expect during your first visit to Oasis Church and how we are keeping your family safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and following current guidelines from the State of Virginia and the conference center.

Will I need to wear a mask?

In compliance with the conference center regulations and mandates from the State of Virginia, masks are required. Masks will be available for those who don’t have them. Only adults and children in our Elementary age group (Grades K-5) will be asked to wear a mask.

Will Oasis be limiting the capacity of the conference center?

Yes, we are limiting our capacity to ensure social distancing in our auditorium. As the local, state and federal guidelines evolve we will update our seating limitationos accordingly and keep you updated.

How will Oasis be practicing social distancing?

We will be setting our seating up theatre style with proper distance between rows. We ask that individuals and families practice social distancing when seating and when in common areas. 

How will the facility be cleaned?

The conference center will be deep cleaaning our facility after every single event ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation before and after our services. Hand sanitizer stations will also be available throughout the building.

Will restrooms be open?

Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning.

Will Oasis be screening those who attend in person?

Temperature checks will be required for all our staff, volunteer teams, and all children attending Oasis Kidz. We ask everyone to use good judgment: if you are feeling ill or have a family member who is feeling ill, please stay home.

What safety precautions and procedures can I expect for my children?
  • Mask and temperature checks are required for all volunteers and children/pareents during the cheeck-in process.
  • We are asking that all Elementary kids wear a mask. All other ages will not be asked to wear a mask.
  • Hand sanitizing will be encouraged before enter the Kidz area.
  • All non-essential items from home (like toys and blankets) will need to stay in the hallway or in your vehicle.
  • We’re santizing surfaces and toys/equipment.
  • Our volunteers are washing their hands and/or sanitizing often and we’ll encourage parents and children to do the same.
